November Prayer requests:

Praise Reports:

  • For an amazing trip to Jordan, with great time of encouraging the church, and strengthening the workers. 
  • For Kimmie as she finished her first international marathon!
  • For our 10 day teams as the come home from amazing outreaches!
Ministry Requests:
  • Pray for the students hearts to be open to the work of missions as they return from their outreach.
  • Kimmie and I will both be sharing at a Youth Conference this weekend. Pray for boldness, power and wisdom through His Spirit. 
  • Pray for speakers week, for those sharing and those listening. Pray that hearts will be molded and lives changed through the teaching of His Word. 
  • Pray for the Power of the Holy Spirit and Wisdom as Caleb  serves as director over the Bible College. 
  • Pray for the Foster family as they make their transition from CCBCE, into their next chapter of faith. Pray for provision, protection and blessing.
  • Pray for the continued growth of the school we would like to have 120 full time students, this will also allow us to have up to 30 subsided students from countries that wouldn't normally be able to afford the schooling.
Family Requests:
  • Please pray for Kimmie and kids as she will return back to the states for a few weeks before me.
  • Please pray for our trip home for Christmas. Please pray for provision as the travel will be over $6,700 for our family of six. 
  • Pray for continued vision, direction for us we grow in our gifting and calling here at CCBCE. Pray that we will overflow as a family into the students and staff we are so privilege to serve and co-labor with. 
  • Continued blessing on our kids as manage home-schooling, ministry, & family. God has been so gracious to give my wife a double portion of strength and wisdom. 
  • Pray for finances as this has been a season of investing in many different needs. Passport renewals, visa renewals for kids (over $500) Outreaches, Anniversary's, Christmas etc. We are so grateful for all the Lord continues to provide. Pray for us to be good stewards with what we have, and generous givers in areas of need.

October Prayer Requests

Praise Reports:


  • For a great start to amazing new Semester!
  • For our kids as they have been doing really well with homeschool this year
  • Lord provided funds for my Trip to Jordan (Oct 13-19) 


Ministry Requests:


  • Pray for the Power of the Holy Spirit and Wisdom as Caleb steps into the new role of Director over the Bible College. 
  • Pray for the Foster family as they make their transition from CCBCE, into their next chapter of faith. Pray for provision, protection and blessing.
  • Pray for the continued growth of the school we would like to have 120 full time students, this will also allow us to have up to 30 subsided students from countries that wouldn't normally be able to afford the schooling. 
  • Pray for myself, Pastor Phil, Paul Billings, and Bill Osborn as we travel to Jordan (Oct 13 - 19) for a Pastors Conference. Pray for the Power of the Holy Spirit through the Word to build up, encourage, and empower these leaders. Pray for protection and peace for us and families as we travel. 
  • Pray for our students as they will be traveling around the world to serve on different outreaches for 10 days. Pray for them to be a blessing to the ministries they will serve alongside. Pray for souls to won, and lives to be changed. 


Family Requests:


  • Please pray for Kimmie as she runs her first international marathon in Budapest Oct 13
  • Pray for the family as I will be abroad in Jordan Oct 13 - 19. Pray for peace and protection for them

Praise Reports:
  • The Lord radically blessed A vision for life 2013! Kids got saved. Lives where changed! Our lives where blessed
  • People where saved on outreaches to the different cities. (Pray for that the fruit remains and seeds fell on good soil) 
  • Everyone made it safely back to where they where going
  • 7 students from AVFL are staying for Fall semester!
Ministry Requests:
  • Our Fall semester begins in less them 2 weeks! Pray for all the new students (over 40) coming. Pray that God would get them here safely. That the Lord would provide for them to get them here. Pray that the Lord would give them a heart of expectancy. That they would be open to all He wants to do. 
  • Pray for the married couples coming this fall. We will have at least 7 married couples joining us for the fall semester.
  • Pray for the Pastors and Teachers as we desire to teach with Power, wisdom, and grace from the Holy Spirit. Pray that we have His eyes as we plan syllabus, schedule, and assignments. 
  • Pray for our families and the Spiritual warefare that always exists with the radical work the Lord will do. 
  • Pray for a fresh outpouring of His Spirit, for vision, direction, passion, and compassion for us staff; as we seek to bring people closer to Jesus.
Family Requests:
  • Wisdom for Kimmie and I as we prepare for 3 our 4 kids (ages 5 - 10) to be home schooled next semester. Pray also for patience for us and diligence for them.
  • Pray for me as I prepare for my two classes Acts & Nehemiah. Pray that I have His Spirit directing, guiding, empowering. 
  • Pray for my potential trip to Jordan in Oct. Pray for the provision and protection for me and my family while I would be away. 
  • Pray for Kimmie as she runs her marathon in Budapest in Oct.
  • Pray for our family as we seek to be living sacrifices, growing together in ministry, meekness, obedience, & love.

May Prayer Requests

Praise Reports:
  • The Israel outreach went amazingly well! Everyone was safe, ministry was awesome. Pray for the seeds that where planted trough outreach and also into the students lives. 
  • No issues for my family while I was away.
  • Homeschooling resources for fall 2013!
Ministry Requests:
  • This is our busiest two weeks of the semester. We have two weeks of classes, finals, thesis defense, graduation. Please pray for strength and wisdom for the staff and students. Pray that we all finish well. 
  • Pray for the final month of AVFL applications. We are praying for 40+ students. We have 32 right now. Pray that those who have committed that the Lord will provide and protect them during this process. 
  • Pray for the Foundations conference our largest conference is less then 6 weeks away. Over 300+ missionaries and their families will come for a week or refreshing, refining, and responding to work of the Holy Spirit. Pray for the speakers and teams that will be coming to serve. Nations will be impacted through the messages and moments in during the conference.
  • Pray for the many different staff members dealing with health challenges. It seems that the enemy would love for us to be distracted by weakness and different challenges. Pray for healing, strength and victory for those that ailing and weak. 
Family Requests:
  • Strength and patience for Kimmie and the kids as I get through my busiest season.
  • Wisdom, and grace as Kimmie, I and the team get ready for our first full AVFL summer together. We need discernment as we make decisions about classes, curriculum, outreaches, schedules and even applications. Potentially 40+ kids will going through 6 weeks of life changing classes and outreaches. The warfare will be intense!
  • Provision and protection for all the outreach's we will do with the AVFL team this summer. 5 different countries!
  • Protection as Spring / Summer weather is here. The pool is opening up and the kids are enjoying more outside time with family and friends.

April - Update

Ministry

  • Please pray for Judit one of our office staff. She has stage IV breast cancer. She is a believer but this news is very difficult and challenging for her family. Pray for divine healing, peace and power.
  • Outreaches: Please pray for our teams leaving April 19 - 28. Pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to work in and through each team. Pray for protection during travel. Pray for the people they will minster with and places they will minister in. Pray that they will reap an eternal harvest. John 4:35-38

  • AVFL (A vision for Life)  please pray for the students who have committed to coming so far. Pray for protection; physically, financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Pray also for those that have not yet committed to coming. We have just over 20 who have signed up to come, we wold love to see 20 more. 

Personal

  • Charis our oldest turns 9 next week (April 10th) Pray for blessings and joy as she has been a great help during this transition for our family. Pray for a special time with family and friends on her birthday.
  • Our car; Friday April 5th, we are just getting our car back after 6 weeks of being in the shop. Please pray for all the investment that went in to it to get it back up and running. Pray that the things fixed would last, and that there would be no new problems. Please pray a blessing on Kurt & others for their gifts in helping us fix this.
  • Our Family; Please be praying for all the challenges, and adjustments with me leaving for outreach: (April 19 - 28) Pray for strength and protection for Kimmie and the Kids. Please be praying also for diligence and grace as we prepare for classes, AVFL, outreach, end of the semester etc. Many things to be juggling right now, but we have been blessed and sustained by His Grace and your prayers!

Made it to March

Praise Reports!

  • Classes are going well, the students have been very responsive.
  • Kimmie is building strong relationships with the students. She is able to disciple and encourage them. I am so blessed by watching the Lord use in powerful ways.

For our Family:

  • The kids have been fighting colds on and off. Please pray for strong immune systems, and protection from all the different viruses going around. 
  • Pray for our car situation. The car broke down last week, we just found out today it will be about $1,000 in repairs. This not only has a financial impact but it looks to keep me from going on a 10 day trip with the students to Israel as well. Please pray for provision and wisdom as we navigate this situation. 
  • Justice is turning 5 this month. Please pray that he will grow in the things of the Lord. He has a willing heart, but a very active personality. He has a strong will, but he truly is craving the attention of his siblings, family, and friends. Pray the Lord gives us insight into how to bless him and encourage him in these formative years.
Staff / School

1. Pastor Kurt Kula & Family left to Cambodia Weds; Feb 22'nd. Pray for the move, the transition, the opposition, and just God's blessing as they walk in obedience to His call.
  
2. Our prayer this Semester is about being transformed. Pray that we all staff and students are being transformed by the renewing of our minds & hearts. We are going through the book of Daniel with the students on Thursday nights. Pray the Lord will help all of them purpose in their hearts to say "yes" to Him.

3. Please be praying for those the Lord would want to bring to our A Vision for Life program this summer. Six weeks of Discipleship with kids from around the globe. Pray the Lord draw and abundance of kids that we might reach a "large spiritual harvest."

Praise Reports!

  • Girls are sleeping through the night! God has given them great peace and joy during the last week, huge answer to prayer! Thank you
  • Kids are almost back to 100% the flu worked its way through the family. Pray for continued strength and healing.

For our Family:

  1. Wisdom for Homeschooling schedule. The mornings are actually quite busy here for me with classes and preparations. This has meant a lot more for Kimmie to juggle with all the kids school, and Cruz being only 17 months.  
  2. Justice; just started school in the Village nearby. Pray for friendships, health, and patience for him as he finds his own little niche here. 
  3. Wisdom and Strength for classes. Pray that I can communicate the Truths of God's word in way that leads these students into a deeper more passionate love of Jesus. Pray that I am sensitive to see, hear, and share, through the Power of His Spirit. My Gospel of John class is Tuesday's 9:00 AM (3 hours) / Epistles of John class is on Weds 1:30 PM (2 hours) 
  4. Pray for Kimmie as she has been patient and gracious with me and kids as we adjust and study. She has been able to keep the kids on schedule, fit in runs of 10 - 15 miles (in the snow I might add) Pray the Lord renews her strength and blesses her with enough for each day. Pray for discipleship opportunities with the students. People she can pour into and develop close relationships / friendships.

1. Pastor Kurt Kula & Family leave to Cambodia Weds; Feb 22'nd. Pray for traveling mercies for them, as they move there family of six to a new continent & ministry. The Kula family were pioneer missionaries in Poland for 19 years. They have served here at Bible College making disciples. Now they are launching to help as the work in Cambodia is exploding with radical conversions, and people are so open to the gospel. Kurt and family will help lay a biblical foundation to strengthen the believers, make disciples and plant churches. Pray for the move, the transition, the opposition, and just God's blessing as they walk in obedience to His call.

Classes start today!

Praise Reports!

  •  We were able to buy our car today! Big thank you to the Kula family who were patient with this process and allowing us to purchase the car from them. Everything went so smooth with all the official paperwork.
Please be praying for them as they make their transition to Cambodia in 2 weeks

  • We are fully unpacked, all our stuff arrived safely and whole. God was so gracious in getting us to Hungary without any issues at any of the airports etc. 
  • We are grateful for the friendships and families that have made our transition so smooth. Everyone has been so helpful, encouraging, making us feel right at home. 

For our Family:

  1. The hardest part has been for the girls. Each night has been getting a little easier, but the home-sickness is worst at bedtime. Missing family and friends is hard when your 8 & 6. Lot's of tears, but God is slowly building new bridges of faith, and revealing Himself to them. 
  2. Justice is feeling a bit under the weather. He just started school today. Pray for friendships, health, and patience for him as he finds his own little niche here. 
  3. Wisdom and Strength for classes. 2. Pastor Jeremy Foster leaves to Serbia this weekend for outreach. Equipping ministry leaders out in Serbia to study and teach the Word.

3. Pastor Kurt Kula leaves to Kiev, Ukraine to teach a youth conference. Pray for Him that these youth would respond to the messages and their hearts would open.

4. Our prayer this Semester is about being transformed. Pray that we all staff and students are being transformed by the renewing of our minds & hearts.

10 days till lift-off!

Praise Reports!

  1. Cruz got his cast off! He suffered a hairline fracture last month. X-rays showed good bone growth, he is back up and running!
  2. Looks like we have a buyer for our car here in the states! Just got it detailed and ready for sale. Pray for a smooth transition. A friend of friend wants to purchase it for his wife. He is dealing with some health issues, please pray for healing for him. 

Prayer Requests:

 Before we go:

  1. Good health... tis the seasons for colds etc. Pray that Cruz gets better quickly and the rest of our colds do not get worse before the flight. 
  2. Strength for our families through the roller coaster of emotions. Please pray for the Lords comfort on our families as they go through the process of sending, trusting, releasing us. 
  3. Blessings on the co-labors who have blessed us financially, emotionally, spiritually. Pray the Lord would multiply each seed of faith. That it would produce a harvest of souls for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. 
  4. Pray for a Blessing on the home of the families that hosted us. Pray the Lord would give them favor and abundance for their service unto Him! 3 John 1:5-6
  5. Please pray for favor with all our bags, traveling items etc. Pray that all our items arrive safely and without issue. Please pray the airlines would honor all our arrangements and a peaceful travel. 
  6. Pray that these last few days will be productive and peaceful. We desire to share our vision, strengthen our relationships, and enjoy this season as we follow the Lord into this next chapter in grand adventure.

In Hungary

  1. Pray for my two classes next semester. The Gospel of John and the Epistles of John. The Gospel of John will be a 3hr Class 1x a week and the Epistles a 2hr Class 1x a week. Pray the Lord will give me wisdom as I study and prepare the classes, assignments, and overall structure.
  2. Pray for the kids the Lord will bring to AVFL. Lisa, others, and myself have been handing out flyers and sharing the vision for this years A Vision for Life Program.
